On July 28, the General Meeting of Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and the First Wuchaoshan High-end International Academic Forum were held in Hangzhou. The conference was hosted by Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering. After deliberation before the meeting and election at the meeting, Professor Zhao Mingjie, CQUST President, was elected as Deputy Director of Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and it was decided at the meeting that our university would be the host of the 18th Academic Conference of Rock Dynamics Professional Committee.
