On the afternoon of December 22, a seminarwas held in our University on the progress of heavy oil thermal recovery experiment and the construction of hydrate geological risk platform . Attending the meeting was Zhou shouwei, former vice president of China Association for Science and Technology, member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Professor of our university and director of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory (to be established) for Unconventional Oil and Gas Development.

Academician Zhou shouwei approved of the recent progress of the State Key Laboratory (to be established) for Unconventional Oil and Gas Development , and made arrangements for the construction of Hydrate Geological Risk Platform and GAGD technology research and other important fields of work.
